Presentation on Apache Cordova and Visual Studio Tools for Cordova CTP3.1

Yesterday I had an all-day workshop with a very large bank in Scandinavia where we discussed their opportunities in the cross-platform mobile development space. Lately I have been working with both Xamarin and Apache Cordova — two very good frameworks for cross-plat dev. I put together this presentation on Apache Cordova and spiced it up with some cool demos using the latest CTP of the Visual Studio Tools for Apache Cordova.

Back from Africa, Microsoft 4Afrika Rocks!

As I wrote in an earlier post, I have been in South Africa for the past week to help The Open Medicine Project — a really cool startup founded by two medical doctors who are trying to change the world of medicine in developing countries through the use of mobile technology. I spend a lot of my time with startups and, honestly, it’s been a long time since I have met a startup being so passionate and visionary about what they’re doing. It was truly inspiring to work with Mohammed and Yaseen during my week in Cape Town and I am happy that we agreed to continue working together even now that I am back in Denmark.
